This year’s pageant comes from High River United Church in Alberta. In 2013, the region suffered from a devastating flood. People were forced to witness the destruction of their beloved community, struggling to rebuild their homes and businesses. The children and youth from High River Church wanted to propose a re-imagined Christmas pageant to help bring a clear message to the people of High River: God is with us, we are not alone.
