The Minister Needs A Haircut!

St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Cornwall, Ontario is organizing an effort to raise funds and awareness through the Love My Neighbour/Aime ton Prochain organization for the UNICEF COVID-19 campaign to distribute COVID-19 vaccines quickly and equitably in low- and middle-income countries around the world, giving our whole global family access to life-saving prevention measures.

Our minister, the Reverend Robert Adams, has offered to get a “buzz cut” as a fundraiser to support UNICEF’s efforts to distribute vaccines to vulnerable populations around the world. Don’t worry, we’ll leave some stubble so he doesn’t get a sunburnt head! The “Buzz” will be at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, 28 Second St. East in Cornwall, Ontario at 11:15 AM on Sunday, August 1st, 2021 and all are welcome to join us for this event. The Government of Canada has decided to match dollar for dollar, donations made by individual Canadians to UNICEF Canada’s COVID-19 vaccination fundraising campaign, up to a maximum of $10 million. This is an incredible opportunity to show Canadian support to those around the world who don’t have the privilege of easy access to vaccinations.
